General Requirements
The Committee will be between 8 and 12 members. Members must be residents of the City of Des moines and shall consist of interested representatives of environmental groups, developers, builders' associations, business persons, City personnel and residents at large.
City Council member for each City ward may appoint one member from their ward. If any City Council member declines to appoint a Committee member from their ward, the Public Works Director will make such appointment. The remaining members shall be appointed by the Public Works Director.
