French Way Cleaners

Euclid Foresight, LLC, represented by Connor Delaney, Manager, and Danny Heggen and Brandon Foldes of DEV Partners, have proposed a historic renovation of the 18,000-square-foot building at 413 Euclid Avenue, which will be redeveloped as a mixed-use building, including commercial and multi-family residential uses. 

The project cost is approximately $4.3 million.  Due to the historic use as a dry cleaner operation, there are environmental clean-up, remediation, and mitigation measures that need to be taken, with associated costs of up to $170,000.  The Development Team intends to begin construction in July 2022 and would finish construction in May 2023.

Merle Hay Mall Redevelopment

Merle Hay and Orchard View Sports & Entertainment, owners of the Des Moines Buccaneers hockey team, are partnering to build a new 3,500 seat multi-purpose arena in the former Younkers Department Store on the west side of the shopping center. The development will be the new home of the Des Moines Buccaneers hockey team and will also include three additional sheets of ice with bleacher seating to host additional games, practices, and tournaments. In addition, a 150-room hotel is planned for the complex. The complex will be able to host regional and national tournaments as well as E-sports, trade shows and concerts.
