This project is a Polk County project that has portions of the project within the City limits.  Polk County is administrating the project and Snyder & Associates is designing the project.  The proposed improvement includes converting the existing 2 lane rural roadway cross section to a 3 lane urban roadway cross section with curbs, one travel lane in each direction, and a center dual left turn lane.  A Sidewalk/trail is proposed along the north side of Broadway Avenue.  To see more about the project use the link below to go to the Polk County website.
