The City of Des Moines Engineering Department provides technical engineering support to the Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (WRA) and all City departments.

To construct public infrastructure and maintain traffic control systems essential to the safety, health, mobility, and quality of life for the Des Moines residents, businesses and guests.
