Request Aggregated Data Services from Utilities

Important Update: The deadline for reporting 2020 data has been extended to July 1, 2021. This change is effective for all future reporting cycles as well.

In some cases, building owners/manager may need to request aggregated data services from their utility providers (MidAmerican Energy and Des Moines Water Works). Aggregated data is essentially whole-building usage data. When these services are sought, the requestor (building owner/manager) will receive usage data for the entire building and not individualized tenant accounts associated with the building.

Use the flowcharts below to determine whether you need to request aggregated data services from your utility providers.

Update: If you have requested aggregate data from MidAmerican Energy for a prior reporting year you do not need to request the data for your next reporting cycle.  Data will be automatically sent to property owners on our around April 15th.
