Hot meals available to Des Moines families in need on Thursday
DES MOINES, IOWA — Wednesday, May 20, 2020 — The City of Des Moines has partnered with the Central Iowa Shelter and Services (CISS), the Food Bank of Iowa, Urban Dreams and Orchestrate Hospitality to provide free hot meals to Des Moines families and residents in need.

- WHEN: Thursday, May 21 between 4 – 6 p.m.

This event is the first of a series of food distribution events planned for this summer. To date, Des Moines City Council has designated $350,000 of federal relief grant funding to make these events possible and support both our local businesses and our residents in their time of need.
