Register for Swim Lessons and Purchase Season Pool Passes Online

Register for 2019 swim lessonsDES MOINES, IOWA – Wednesday, April 03, 2019 – Start planning your summer now by signing up for swimming lessons AND purchasing your discounted season pool passes online!

Just as in previous years, swim lesson class sizes are restricted and registration is first come, first served. New this year, we have six sessions for swim lessons, starting June 10. The cost is $30 per person for group lessons and $80 per person for private lessons. Classes offered this summer include: 

  • Baby/Infant and Me
  • Preschool Swim
  • Learn to Swim Levels 1-5
  • Adult Swimming Lessons
  • Private Lessons

 We also offer Water Safety Instructor (June 3 - 7) and Lifeguard Training (May 17 – 19). Our team has many openings for lifeguards. If you are given a conditional offer for employment with Des Moines Parks and Recreation, the lifeguard training course will be provided at no charge. During the month of April, season passes are available at a discounted Early Bird price, listed below.
