City Observes Labor Day Holiday

DES MOINES, IOWA – Friday, September 4, 2020 – The City will observe the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVI-19) outbreak, Des Moines City Administration Buildings remain closed to the public.

There will be no collection of garbage, yard waste or recycling on Monday. Collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. For more information, call the Des Moines Public Works Customer Service Center at (515) 283-4950 or visit DSM.city/holidayschedule.
