Summer Issue of City Source to Hit Mailboxes this Week
DES MOINES, IOWA – Tuesday, June 8, 2021 – The summer issue of City Source, a printed publication produced quarterly by the City of Des Moines, is being mailed to more than 91,000 households tomorrow and should arrive in residents’ mailboxes this week.
In this issue, Des Moines residents can expect this summer’s Parks and Recreation Guide as well as stories on how the City has developed a climate action plan and is making historic investments in rebuilding Des Moines’ infrastructure.
The summer edition of City Source also includes stories highlighting an ambitious endeavor for Birdland Park and Marina, why housing projects are soaring along Grand Avenue and what residents need to know when preparing to do projects this summer.
