Des Moines, Iowa — Wednesday, November 10, 2021 — The City will observe the Veterans Day holiday on Thursday, November 11, 2021. City Administration Buildings will be closed for the day and will reopen on Friday, November 12.

Normal collection of garbage, recycling and yard waste will take place on November 11. For more information, visit DSM.city/holidayschedule.

All branches of the Des Moines Public Library will also be closed Thursday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day and will reopen for regular hours on Friday.
