DES MOINES, IOWA — Thursday, June 27, 2019 — The Fourth of July holiday is a week away and Des Moines public safety officials want to thank residents that are being considerate of their neighbors and refraining from exploding fireworks in their neighborhood. According to the City’s Municipal Code, it is unlawful at all times for a person to use or explode consumer fireworks within Des Moines city limits.
